Why was my Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) Run?

Your record is only run by an organization that you have given written permission to. This can include employers, insurance companies and contract for hire companies (rideshare, delivery, and or other gig style contracting)

What if I believe the data on my Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is inaccurate?

If the data is inaccurate you may need to file a dispute providing sufficient information and supporting documentation (preferably state provided documentation) so we can investigate the specific information you believe to be inaccurate. If you do not provide this level of specificity, the dispute process will only research the last ordered record.

What is a dispute?

A dispute is submitted when you believe there is inaccurate or incomplete data represented on your MVR.

What happens when I file a dispute?

If the record that has been reported matches the state MVR database, we will refer you to raise this dispute with your local department of motor vehicles for further assistance. If the MVR record that was submitted does NOT match the state MVR database, we will investigate further and if appropriate, correct our records

How long will it take for my dispute to be resolved?

As a Consumer Reporting Agency that provides MVRs to other companies about you we have 30 days from receipt of your dispute to research the dispute and provide our research findings back to you.

Can I request a new pull of my Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) through this dispute process?

What if I believe the reported data on my Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) is outdated?

You should submit a request directly to the agency that ran your original MVR if your license status has changed, have had violations removed, and or corrected issues with the court that could be reflected on your record.

How long will it take for my dispute to be resolved?

As a Consumer Reporting Agency that provides MVRs to other companies, it is required that you receive a response by 30 days from receipt of your dispute. Our agency will research your dispute and provide our research findings back to you. You will receive an email from no-reply@safetyholdings.com.

Who is Safety Holdings and how do they determine that I am not a qualified driver?

Safety Holdings is a consumer dispute reporting site for MVR and Telematics data aggregation service for employers and insurance agencies. Each employer and insurance agency is responsible for determining employment eligibility and driver risk thresholds.
